Deer Preclinical Assays

Acute Phase Biomarkers

Acute phase proteins (APPs) are plasma proteins, predominantly synthesised by the liver as a nonspecific inflammatory reaction to any tissue injury. This includes infection, inflammation or trauma. The response is rapid, with the concentration of these proteins significantly altering within 24 – 48 hours. The measurement of serum APPs provides an early marker of inflammation which is sensitive, reliable and robust and allows inflammatory processes to be distinguished from functional disturbances with similar or identical clinical pictures.

The Tridelta kits are are accepted and established as the standard in both methodology and performance.

They are kept in stock and delivery is usually the next day.
